The research unit established in the School of Foreign Languages conducts quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research in both the Department of Basic English and the Department of Modern Languages. Its research focuses on issues such as searching and trying new instructional techniques and difficulties encountered in instruction. Therefore, the research unit aims to contribute to supporting instruction and making it more effective and efficient. Through the research on the factors which can increase our students' motivation and engagement in the lessons, it helps our school find more reliable solutions.

In addition to these, the research unit follows the current studies in the national and international sphere, does research related to them, evaluates their effects, and shares its results through presentations.
