Cooperation Agreement Between Our Faculty of Health Sciences and University of Michigan is Signed
Our Dean Prof. Füsun Terzioğlu participated in the scientific programs titled “Beyond #MeToo: A Look at Gender Based Violence and Reproductive Coercion Globally” and “Designing and Evaluating Culturally Appropriate Interventions to Improve Reproductive & Sexual Health organized by the University of Michigan between 10th - 17th of May.
Many countries participated in the program where human trafficking, gender-based violence and innovative practices for prevention, training of health professionals, research activities and career plans on related issues, awareness raising and effective use of media in disseminating research results were covered. After the program, a collaboration agreement was established between the Faculty of Health Sciences and the University of Michigan Nursing Department based on nursing education and scientific research.
This collaboration covers a wide range of areas of interest, such as joint research projects, academic publication and report sharing, experience sharing on innovative teaching methods and course designs, joint symposia, workshops and conferences, student exchanges, and mutual visits by researchers.
