Chairperson’s Message

Established in 2000, the Department of Mathematics has been providing uninterrupted education since its foundation. With a curriculum aligned with international standards and a distinguished academic staff engaged in advanced research, our department ranks among the leading mathematics departments. Our goal is to provide our students with a comprehensive education, both theoretical and practical, through the flexible structure of our program. In addition to core mathematics courses, our program offers a wide range of elective courses that students can tailor to their interests. This structure allows students to deepen their knowledge in the mathematics field and gain expertise in various disciplines. By selecting appropriate courses, our students also have an opportunity to receive a Mathematical Finance or Cryptography Certificate in addition to their B.Sc. degree. Our graduates pursue careers in academia as well as in a wide variety of sectors, including finance, communication, software, education, banking and insurance, public planning, R&D departments of public and private institutions, and information security.
