| Course Objectives |
The course on Administrative Law reflects the extent to which the concepts of “Administration,” “Administrative Science,” and “Governance”which have gained significance since the 20th century are evident in the practical realm of our state’s history, both globally and within the Ottoman Empire. In this context, the course aims to understand the establishment, development, and current state of “Administrative Law,” as well as the practical implications of this state for public administration. The course focuses on the Turkish Public Administration system, which was established in line with the Continental European tradition, and its mutual influence with the “Anglo-Saxon” public administration, the role of “Globalization” and “the effects of globalization on our social, economic, and legal lives” in practice, the impacts on institutions and organizations influenced by or unaffected by this trend, and the innovations introduced into our administrative life by the “Presidential Government System” resulting from the latest constitutional amendment -these constitute the objectives of this course. |
