| Course Objectives | The objective of this course is to introduce the basic concepts of pre-calculus, such as sets, numbers, intervals, absolute value, exponential and radical expressions, equations, inequalities, graphical representation of equations and inequalities, equations of line and quadratic curves in the plane, systems of linear equations and their solutions, matrices and determinants. Also, it is aimed to develop the problem solving and analytic thinking skills of the student and to increase their ability to apply problems to real life. |
