Course Objectives The purpose of this course; learning the physiopathology of lung diseases , select appropriate assessment methods and gain the ability to apply rehabilitation methods.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Students learn pulmonary diseases.
  • Know the methods of evaluation of pulmonary diseases.
  • Learn the equipment used in pulmonary rehabilitation.
  • Learn respiratory physiotherapy methods.
Course Content Definition of pulmonary rehabilitation, obstructive and restrictive pulmonary diseases, assessment in pulmonary rehabilitation and the treatment methods used, physiotherapy and rehabilitation in pulmonary surgery, respiratory aids in intensive care unit, oxygen therapy, aspiration, physiotherapy and rehabilitation in intensive care, chest physiotherapy and rehabilitation in neonates and pediatric patients.
