Course Objectives Give students the point of view ensuring them to look at the architecture as a culture and not only a technology over the developments realized all over the world as well as in Turkey in the context of social and cultural bases within the architectural history and theory, create a general point of view for the literature, ensure the formation of architectural esthetical perception and critical skills.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
Course Content Appraisal of architectural history in terms of the social, political, and cultural contexts of the architectural development in the world and in Turkey; discussions of architectural history and theories in relation with architectural historiography.
