Course Objectives The aim of the course is to provide knowledge and skills regarding operating room entry rules, basic surgical sets and instruments, and practices in operating rooms.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • - Having knowledge and skills regarding the care of surgical patients before, during and after surgery, - Having knowledge and skills regarding the procedures required during the surgical procedure from the time the surgical patient is admitted to the operating room to the surgical unit
Course Content Cardiovascular surgery diseases and surgical approaches, lung, pleural diseases, thoracic surgery, neurosurgical surgeries, orthopedic diseases and surgery, male genital system surgeries, urological surgeries in women, gynecological surgeries, Cesarean section, characteristics of pediatric surgery, operating room preparation, surgical diseases of the newborn, transport and operating room preparation, minimally invasive procedures in children, thoracic surgeries in children, childhood tumors,
