Course Objectives The purpose of physiology is to explain the physical and chemical factors that provide the beginning, development and progress of life. It deals with the characteristics and mechanisms that provide the vitality of the human body. It does not aim to apply the acquired knowledge and results in their professional courses.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • To learn the working mechanism of the cell, which is the building block of the living being. To have information about the working system of tissues and organs. To have information about the working mechanism of the systems formed by the organs. To enable them to make comparisons about the relationships between the systems. To have information about how the systems are affected in disease conditions.
Course Content Nervous system, muscle physiology, blood physiology, heart and circulatory physiology, kidney functions, respiratory physiology, gastrointestinal function, endocrine system physiology.
