Course Objectives The student will learn about medical laboratory organization.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Define the concept and management of medical laboratories. Explain the duties, authorities and responsibilities of medical laboratory workers, laboratory organization chart. Define how to organize the work environment and ensure safety. Explain medical laboratory device and material management, technical specification writing, and laboratory information system. Define what needs to be done regarding patient safety, laboratory safety, and the rules to be followed in the laboratory within the scope of quality standards in health.
Course Content Procedures related to patient material, organizing the working environment, taking samples from the patient.
