Course Objectives The purpose of this course is to provide theoretical training on the duties and responsibilities of ambulance and emergency care technicians, to introduce the devices and materials used, to learn ambulance types, ambulance service standards and legal responsibilities, so that the personnel who will use the ambulance and the equipment in the ambulance can become competent in transporting the patient to the nearest health institution in vital situations.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Students who successfully complete this course; -Know ambulance equipment. -Acquire the ability to use all ambulance equipment. -Use appropriate carrying methods when transporting the patient. -Be aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Course Content Ambulance service standards, vehicle and equipment control, traffic information, radio and communication, ambulance supplies, equipment and use, duties and responsibilities of paramedics, ambulance types, the functioning of emergency health services.
