Accredited Programs
Atılım University is one of the leading institutions in Türkiye in the field of accreditations, among the most concrete indicators of quality assurance in higher education. We have been granted the “Full Accreditation” status for five years under the Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP) implemented by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), becoming one of the first foundation universities in the country to receive the status. In addition, more than twenty Atılım University programs have been accredited by various accreditation bodies.
Accreditation not only ensures a better learning experience and increases student satisfaction, but also improves graduates’ chances of finding employment.
Research-Oriented Education
As stated in the education policies of Atılım University, one of our primary goals is to train graduates with research competence. To achieve this, the University has developed unique research support programs tailored to our students (The Undergraduate Research Projects Program – ”LAP”, The Researcher Career Support Program for Atılım University Students – “ATAK”). Participation in these projects counts towards students’ elecive course load; provided that they take the course coded and titled ATU 200/400 Research Project Participation, under certain conditions.
The University provides opportunities for students to share the outcomes of their R&D work through events such as the Atılım Research Day (ATAG) and the Student Congress on Engineering Sciences and Research (MÜBAK).
Research-oriented education allows students to participate in projects at an early stage, offering them the opportunity to experience project execution processes. This contributes to the development of skills such as creativity and imagination, teamwork and collaboration, problem-solving, presentation, and effective communication.
Sector Cooperation
The Cooperative Education Program at Atılım University enables students who meet the requirements and wish to participate in the program to work continuously (approximately for 7 months, combining their internship studies and a semester) at organizations with which the University has protocols signed. These activities are evaluated within the scope of the Cooperative Education studies. The program is an integral part of students’ education and does not extend the duration of study.
Through the Cooperative Education model, students combine the theory acquired at the university with real-world practices, merging their academic and business life. This model enhances graduates’ chances of employment by equipping them with both theoretical foundations, and practical experience.
