Course Objectives To teach transportation and transportation businesses and airway businesses that are used touristic transportation.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • To have knowledge of historical development of travels, basic terms related tourism and transportation and able to use its knowledge
  • To teach the structure of travel industry and future of tourism transportation, functions of transportation in tourism and demand for types of transportation in tourism and able to use its knowledge
  • To learn marketing methods of transportation services and tour business and able to use its knowledge
  • To learn organizing package tours and selection of general transportation vehicle for package tours and able to use its knowledge
  • To examine coordination between transportation and travel businesses, confronted problems and solution proposals and able to use its knowledge
Course Content Basic notions, functions, description and processes of tour operators, preparing tours, marketing and ticketing.
