Course Objectives This course is designed to provide students with advanced knowledge of the entrepreneurial process and theories. Since the course involves addressing the international dimensions of entrepreneurship, it is essential to first learn about the fundamental concepts and ideas related to international entrepreneurship. Utilizing this theoretical foundation will help students develop an analytical and critical perspective, enabling them to easily identify opportunities and obstacles in the market.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • To be able to explain the concept of entrepreneurship and its economic and social importance.
  • To be able to evaluate the entrepreneurship ecosystem and current developments in Türkiye.
  • Ability to analyze different business types and the key characteristics of SMEs.
  • Ability to analyze and compare global SME examples.
  • Evaluating the entrepreneurial characteristics of SMEs through fieldwork and data analysis.
Course Content Definition of entrepreneurship and logistics in international scope, types of firm and entrepreneurial characteristics of SME`s and current statistics about entreprising SME`s.
