| Course Objectives | The main objective of this course is to provide students with knowledge of the nature, importance, and role of inventory management and warehousing within international supply chain and logistics systems. Warehousing provides time and space benefits for raw materials, industrial products, and finished goods, while also offering companies a value-added competitive advantage through customer service. Similarly, the goal of inventory management is simply to meet customer demands. Therefore, fundamental warehousing, inventory decision-making, operational issues, and the reasons for holding inventory will be covered in this course. |
