Course Objectives The aim of this course is to demonstrate the real-life workings of export and import operations and to observe the difference between theory and practice through case studies.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Ability to evaluate international terms of trade and their impact on foreign trade.
  • Ability to analyze and apply international delivery terms (INCOTERMS).
  • Ability to analyze the legal framework related to import and export transactions.
  • Ability to analyze the role of free zones and trade zones in foreign trade.
  • Ability to evaluate import logistics processes.
  • The ability to make practical decisions by evaluating foreign trade transactions with a holistic approach.
Course Content International marketing strategies, planning, documentation, financing and transportation choices, export regulations, import customs clearance and other government requirements, the role of service providers, freight forwarders, free-trade-zones, existing import and export rules and regulations, tariff and structures.
