Course Objectives The aim of this course is to teach students the fundamental manipulative therapy techniques, including classical massage and connective tissue massage.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • 1 Explain the definitions, fundamental neurophysiological mechanisms, and basic principles of massage techniques.
  • 2. Explains the methods, effects, indications, and contraindications of massage techniques.
  • 3. Identifies appropriate massage techniques.
  • 4. Applies appropriate massage techniques.
  • 5. Modifies the massage technique used when necessary according to the patient's needs.
Course Content Manual treatment methods, soft tissue mobilizations, myofascial release techniques, neuromobilization, massage techniques, joint mobilization and cyriax techniques.
