The primary aim of the Ph.D. Program in Mechanical Engineering is to educate researchers who possess advanced research capabilities, can work both independently and collaboratively, and have a strong grounding in scientific ethics and philosophy. The program aims to enable participants to critically analyze research topics, interpret them through scientific reasoning, and systematically evaluate experimental and analytical data to derive scientific conclusions. Candidates are expected to go beyond existing methodologies to develop original approaches and novel engineering solutions, and to apply these effectively across various research domains. Furthermore, the program encourages doctoral candidates to synthesize their knowledge to conduct innovative and original research at an international level, contribute to scientific and technological advancements, and transform acquired knowledge into societal benefit by supporting industrial and scientific progress.
