Course Objectives The course is aimed to give the skill of conducting scientific research in different dimensions of color and to analyze and interpret existing scientific researches by increasing the theoretical and methodological level of knowledge on color theory.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • 1. Reflecting the knowledge by questioning and discussing on the academic environment. 2. Conducting and interpreting scientific research on color theory. 3. Conducting research methods that are suitable for topic and objective of the study. 4. Presenting a report that is suitable for the scientific writing rules.
Course Content Dimensions of color and basic factors in perception of color; psychological and physiological effects of color and their roles in two and three dimensional designs; comparisons of color systems (Munsell, CIE XYZ, NCS, etc.); analysis of scientific research in the field.

9 Analysis of scientific research - Analyzing the scientific researches existing in the literature on color theory within the topic, aim, methodology and findings.
