Course Objectives The objective of this course is to introduce the fundamentals of business administration. Issues that have been on the agenda of the business world lately such as globalization, small business management, business ethics will be introduced. Following a brief introduction to functions and skills of management, organization, teamwork and communication concepts will be introduced. Technology and information management will also be covered.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Explains fundamental concepts of business and economics, including the role of entrepreneurship, ethics, and social responsibility in the global
  • Analyzes how businesses are structured and managed by examining organizational design, operations management, quality assurance, and decision-making processes.
  • Evaluates human resource practices, leadership approaches, and labor relations, with emphasis on employee motivation and behavior.
  • Applies principles of marketing to analyze consumer behavior, and to design strategies for product development, pricing, distribution, and promotion.
  • Utilizes information technologies and accounting tools to interpret financial data and assess financial management decisions in business contexts.
Course Content Fundamentals of business, global business, small business, forms of business, functions of business namely, management and organization, and information technology.
