Course Objectives The aim of this course is To understand the scientific basis of diagnostic methods used in urogynecologic physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Explains pelvic floor anatomy and biomechanics; analyzes structural and functional relationships.
  • Selects and applies appropriate physiotherapy assessment methods for urogynecological problems.
  • Designs a patient-specific physiotherapy and rehabilitation program for urogynecological problems.
  • Implements the physiotherapy and rehabilitation program in urogynecology and evaluates treatment outcomes.
  • Analyzes evidence-based literature in the field of urogynecology and uses it in clinical decision-making.
Course Content The choice of physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches for urogynecological problems and the principles of application of these approaches.
