Course Objectives The aim is for students to understand the emergency medical system, to practice patient transportation methods without harming themselves within the framework of their legal responsibilities, and to recognize and actively use the equipment inside the ambulance.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Able to use body mechanics correctly and apply correct patient handling methods.
Course Content Moving and carrying methods of the patient, emergency care applications for fractures, dislocations and sprains, emergency care application in shock, case studies.
