Course Objectives This course aims to know hearing test methods and test methods used in differential diagnosis, to choose the right test methods suitable for the patient, to interpret the test results correctly and to write the correct result.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Explain hearing test methods.
  • Determine what the differential diagnosis methods are.
  • Determine the appropriate test methods for the disease.
  • Describe the student's communication with the patient during the test.
  • As a result of the applied hearing test, learn how to express the evaluation results in written and verbal form.
Course Content The characteristics of the subjective and objective test methods required for audiological diagnosis and their application to the patient, the importance of evaluating all test methods together; diagnostic methods of conductive, mixed and sensorineural hearing losses, physiological and central hearing losses.
