Course Objectives The aim of this course is to gain knowledge and skills related to pathology and case-specific auditory rehabilitation in different age groups.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Identify amplification options and assistive listening devices for adults with hearing loss.
  • Explains the social / sensory / cognitive effects of hearing loss on adult individuals.
  • Develops a (re)habilitative plan for an individual with hearing loss.
  • Discusses educational/communication options for individuals with hearing loss.
