Course Objectives The aim of this course is to know the diseases affecting the vestibular system, to know how to approach the patient with balance disorders, to apply the correct evaluation tests in diagnosis and treatment.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Know the disorders affecting the balance system.
  • Determine the appropriate audiovestibular test battery according to patient history.
  • Determine appropriate additional tests according to test results.
  • Predict audiovestibular diagnosis based on test results.
  • Select appropriate referral and audiovestibular intervention based on test results.
Course Content Approach to patients with balance problems, selection and application of appropriate tests, maneuvers applied in balance system diseases.
