Course Objectives This course aims to comprehend the anatomy and physiology of the peripheral vestibular system, to know the vestibular system disorders and findings and to learn the methods applied in diagnosis and rehabilitation.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Counts the system components that provide balance.
  • Know the basic anatomical and physiological properties of the peripheral vestibular system.
  • Have basic knowledge about vestibular system disorders and their symptoms.
  • Knows the methods used in the treatment of positional vestibular disorders and the basics of vestibular rehabilitation.
Course Content The role of the inner ear in maintaining balance, vestibular disorders, and basic vestibular diagnostic approaches.
