Course Objectives Recognizing the formation and development processes of historical places and their relationship with the physical structure of the city; studying it in terms of architecture and history of art
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • -learn the development of chosen locations as of the ancient times, and relationship within the context of historical process and geography.
  • -learn factors that influence the development of places in an Anatolian Turkish city and the functional development created by the change of these influences in places and their surroundings.
  • -learn how to establish a connection with the historical background of these structures and gains skills to make predictions.
  • -become conscious about the protection of historical places.
