Course Objectives To eliminate the lack of legal knowledge of an architect under the task of designing built environment and to investigate the legal issues effecting of formation of the built environment
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  •  Gain comprehensive perception of the law of built environment
  •  Apprehend legal and administrative concepts
  •  Learn judicial rules concerning design processes
  • Can be more at ease in adapting to the post-graduate professional world
Course Content The variety of legislations concerning the built environments (region, city, country, neighborhood, building, infrastructure, etc.) in terms of scale and scope; issues related to the management of the built environment.

6 The main topics of the built environment in everyday life: land; land; real estate; building; infrastructure; ownership; tax; unit price; cost of the project; construction supervision; the natural environment; antiquities; urban transformation; high building; peer; climate change; participation; vocational qualifications.
7 Regional planning legislation
8 Urban planning (zoning) regulation (broad terms)
9 Building regulations (protection has been included in the legislation)
10 Discussion on assignments
11 Legislations of chambers of architects and engineers
12 İmportant issues of urben development by-laws
13 İmportant issues of building regulations
