Course Objectives To teach the preparation of accounting information for management and to show how this information is used in managerial planning, control and decision making.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • To determine the behaviour of costs and expenses as activity changes
  • To identify relevant data for managerial decision making
  • To evaluate alternative ways to cost inventory
  • To determine prices and prepare budgets
  • To control costs by comparing the actual values with the standard or planned ones
  • To make cost-volume-profit methods
  • To compute the costs of producing a product.
Course Content Philosophy of managerial accounting, cost analysis, profit planning, cost control, and managerial decision making.
