Course Objectives To understand the development of architecture and art, the cultural interaction and the differences in its historical context.

  • Learns the architectural and the art works belongs to different cultures.
  • Understands the emergence and the development of architectural and art works comparatively.
  • Distinguishes the architectural and art works from different periods.
  • Learns the terminology of history of architecture and art.
  • Relates the historical and socio-economic conditions with the architectural and the art works.
Course Content The historical development of architecture and art and geographical differences and their socio-cultural interactions by comparatively via visuals, plans, etc.between the 15th and 18th century.
