Course Objectives To enable the students to understand and translate medical texts in their authentic form, the medical terminology, in particular from English to Turkish, taken from the internet sources as well as from professional journals, periodicals and textbooks, which will help them to improve their medical English as well as translation skills
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will become familiar with the medical texts.
  • Will become familiar with medical terminology.
  • Will develop their translation skills, analyzing medical texts for translation purposes.
  • Will improve translation criticism skills
Course Content All types of medical texts containing grammatical, conceptual domain-specific terminology and their translations.
