Course Objectives Main aim of this course is to teach students the Basic missions of tour operators: tour planning, preparing, marketing and management process.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • To define the development of travel and travel industry.
  • To describe the functions and organizational structure of the main and side businesses operating in the travel industry.
  • To explain the relationship travel and other tourism businesses and can express the importance of these relationships.
  • To obtain basic information to prepare Package Tours for travel industry.
  • To define the basic information to the travel industry for Ticketing services.
Course Content Organization of travel industry and its position in tourism industry, intersectional relation in tourism, touristical product and travel motivators; tour market segments and types of tours.
