Jointly organize an international translation contest

 

 

Languages: Bulgarian, Russian, English, Turkish, Romanian

 

Eligibility: Any student currently pursuing BA or MA degree

 

Requirements: Any BA/ MA student can enter the contest with one or more translations.

 

The submitted translations will be assessed by the following international committee (in alphabetic order):

Deadlines: the translated versions of the texts should be submitted by 1 September 2026 to the university coordinators appointed below.

30 September 2026 the best translations will be announced.

5 October 2026 the awards for best translation will be distributed. All participants will receive certificates of attendance.

30 November 2026 the best translations will be published in a collection of translations Bridges of Words II with ISBN.

 

Requirements to the translations:

!!! The students should include their names, institution, their degree and the specialty along with an active e-mail.

In the Subject section the students should state Translation Contest for Students 2026

The translations should be formatted in Times New Roman 12, justified, Spacing after 6p., Line spacing: single
