Course Objectives This course, within the frame of International Institutions and Organizations, aims to carry out studies on the topics of international politics with a view to develop language and translational skills of the students in English and Turkish.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • * developed skills to search for specific issues within the field of international politics.
  • * developed skills for oral and written communication on the issues of international politics both in Turkish and English.
  • * acquired the terminology of issues discussed within the field of international politics.
  • * learned to do presentations in front of a formal audience by using legal language.
Course Content UN General Assembly discussion topics; discussion of political agenda and issues of UN Member States; UN General Assembly discussion simulations; Model UN discussion simulations.
