Course Objectives This course aims to teach students how to produce research ideas, to design feasible research, to evaluate research reports, to solve ethical issues, and to write a research report according to APA rules by using databases.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Define basic scientific and methodological terminology
  • Differentiate correlational and experimental research
  • Generate a research hypothesis
  • Prepare sections of a research manuscript
Course Content The concepts of psychological research, relationship between theory and research, formulating and testing hypotheses, ethics in research, a variety of correlational methods used in psychological research.
