Course Objectives
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • identify non-discrimination and role of the EU in diffusing the norm
  • Understand the importance of the non-discrimination in democratic ideals to promote equality in the society
  • Apply different theoratical approaches to the cases regarding Europeanization within and beyond the EU
  • recognize the EU non-discrimination regime
  • Understand and discuss different cases within and beyond the EU in regard to non-discrimination
  • identify problems and challenges in non-discrimination within and beyond the EU
  • analyse the EU non-discrimination policy and critically evaluate it
Course Content The course unpacks EU's non-discrimination regime and the role of the EU in promoting it in EU member states, EU candidate states and EU neighbours.
