Course Objectives The aim of this course is; to enable the student to be able to define current policies at global, regional and country level and to be informed about health and environment.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Describe the definition of health and the tasks of the World Health Organization.
  • Describe the stages of health care.
  • Describe what can be done about health promotion throughout life.
  • Describe the promotion of health in chronic diseases.
  • Defines and explains national and international health laws.
  • Describe health policies and their impact on society.
Course Content Definition of health, basic health services, 1st, 2nd and 3rd step health services, raising the health of 0-1 year old children,1-3 year old children,3-6 year old children, 6-12 year old children, raising the health of adolescent, raising the health of women and men, raising the health of elderly, raising the health in chronic diseases, WHO,UNICEF,FAO, the duties,authorities and responsibilities of the Ministry of Health, health with law, general health insurance, policy and health,nursing laws
