Course Objectives The aim of this course is to make sure that students have knowledge about certificate programs in nursing and special areas where nurses can work.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Know the content, adequacy and requirements of certificate programs specific to the nursing profession.
  • Explain the tasks, authorities and responsibilities of special branch nurses.
  • Include special branch nurses in the process when planning holistic patient care.
Course Content Nursing certificate programs and special branches, legal regulations on certificate programs, roles and responsibilities of sprecial branch nurses, diabetes nursing, infection control nursing, stoma and wound care nursing, nutritional nursing, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis nursing, hemovigilance nursing, workplace nursing and breastfeeding counseling, consultation liaison nursing, home care nursing.
