Course Objectives The aim of this course is to gain the necessary knowledge and skills within the scope of balance and vestibular system evaluations and rehabilitation.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Knows the basic components of the human balance system
  • Has basic knowledge about disorders of the vestibular system
  • Distinguish various vestibular system pathologies, comprehend audiologic approach
  • Has basic knowledge about (re)habilitation techniques used in vestibular system disorders
  • Can create a case-specific program in the diagnosis, evaluation, treatment and follow-up stages of vestibular system pathologies
Course Content The methods used for treatment of the vestibular disorders, which cause balance disorders in humans.
