Course Objectives The aim of this course is to gain basic otolaryngology knowledge within the scope of Audiology Science.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Defines the basic concepts about the anatomy of Otorhinolaryngology
  • Defines the diseases of Otorhinolaryngology and their effects on hearing with general errors
  • Defines the diseases of the Ear, Nose and Throat and their effects on speech and voice with general errors
  • Understands the pathophysiology of ear, nose and throat diseases
  • Understands and distinguishes the mechanisms of formation of external, middle and inner ear diseases
Course Content Examination methods in Ear Nose and Throat Diseases, basic information about anatomy and physiology or the field, diseases of the auricle and external ear canal, diseases of the middle ear and inner ear. Basic information about neurotology, nose and sinus diseases, larynx,oral cavity diseases.
