Course Objectives The course aims to investigate the industrial design needs in the multi-component film making process and to provide the basis, methods and practices of design techniques in each component.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Knows the design principles and practices that have influence on cinema in the 20th century.
  • Understands the industrial design aspect in the cinema sector.
Course Content The course aims to investigate the industrial design needs in the multi-component film making process and to provide the basis, methods and practices of design techniques in each component. The intersections of two major components of the innovative and creative industries are examined. The relationship between design and cinema is discussed as a visual text. The influence of cinema on the development of design and the influence of design on the development of cinema, factors that form the intercultural similarities and differences are discussed through images.
