Course Objectives Teaching students how to solve design details through drawing.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Draws perspective (conic projection) drawing.
  • Explains a product to the end user through shading and coloring.
  • Has a command of solid geometry (intersections, expansions).
Course Content During product design process, perspective drawings are made to develop hand-eye-brain coordination. The course also covers the principles of light, reflection, shade and shading. Perspective views of the three dimensional examples from daily life, which have various surfaces and materials, are structured and coloring and shading exercises are carried out within the context of these principles. Applications regarding the solid geometry, intersections and expansions are conducted.
