Course Objectives The course aims to explore the emergence process of industrial design as a different discipline from the other fields of art and design and the changes and developments in this process. A comprehensive perspective on design and industrial design is intended to be developed.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Learns the development process of Industial Design discipline.
  • Connects the knowledge gained in the process with today.
Course Content The course aims to understand the development of product design from prehistoric times to industrial revolution and to today through the examples from the world and Turkey.
