Course Objectives To get acquainted with late 20th and 21st century contemporary architectural trends and movements over thoughts, discourses and works of prominent architects.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • The students who accomplish this course: - Understand late 20th and 21st century World Architecture in the context of historical, geographical, environmental, local, global, climatic and cultural relations. - Gain the ability to evaluate and scrutinize opposing views related with the orientation of architecture to local and historical contexts following International Architecture Movement; currency of the issue of sustainability coming to the fore with the use of high technology; new interpretation of history and influences of philosophy and nature on architecture, and to follow the emergence of new international discourses.
