Course Objectives Defining at wide scale and multi-dimensional handling of regional subjects in the urban context; program analysis and development; realization of spatial and conceptual thoughts within the scope of widest scale to the scale required in design technology, based on technologies of structure, construction and environmental control, and knowledge related to the environmental conditions and elements of the urban context.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Students who accomplish this course: - Consolidate their skills for complex spatial design and critical thinking at urban scale; - Use the experience they have had since first year; - Reflect the research data obtained regarding developments and analysis in architecture.
Course Content Analysis of the environment and the existing nearby built environment for an architectural project that provides scope for urban discourse and new technological potentials and multi-dimensional research; achievement and presentation in two and three dimensions of an architectural form with function, spatial organization and structure relations

1 Declaration of the subject of the project, handing in of information about the site and defining the limits for the model, announcing that urban analysis studies and interpretations of the requirement program will be made; presentation of the previous term projects.
2 Discussion on the plot, interpretations of the program, and the urban analysis made; discussion on urban design proposals over 1/1000 site plan, 1/500 zoning plans, principal sections, silhouettes and model.
