Course Objectives The aim of this course is to examine the legal arrangement of acts and transactions that carried out through information systems and technology or on information systems and the legal consequences of disputes and crimes that arising out of information technology law and also to evaluate rights and responsibilities in this context.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Increases knowledge and consciousness levels both in terms of legal and technical in the field of information technology.
  • Evaluate legal situations specific to information law.
  • Evaluate legal situations that fall within the scope of information law.
  • Can produce solutions through a rights-based approach to individual and social problems related to information law.
Course Content The main concepts of information technology law, internet law and comparative analyses of different regulations on different countries, IT crimes, IT security, electronic contracts.
