Course Objectives The course is aimed to give the skill of conducting scientific research on the concept of futurism in interior design with increasing awareness about this subject. It also aims to analyze and interpret existing scientific researches, designs and projects related to futurism and interior design.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • • Gaining the ability of using the acquired knowledge in the field of interior architecture.
  • • Having the ability of working in cooperation with multiple disciplines.
  • • Gaining the skill of discussion and questioning within the scope of the knowledge gained through futurism in interior design
  • • Conducting and interpreting scientific research on futurism in interior design by applying research methods.
  • • Preparing written report and presentation in accordance with scientific ethics, plagiarism and spelling rules.
Course Content The change in today of the manifesto that is put forward in the 20th century of the concept of futurism which has transformation and critical perspective; conducting scientific research on the concept of futurism seeking to respond to needs such as flexibility, growth, transformation and mobility in interior design; analyzing today's design projects in this context and discussion of future design approaches and evaluation of results.
