The assessment procedures of the courses in the program may include a variety of evaluation methods such as midterm exams, final exams, assignments, projects, presentations, and in-class performance. The assessment methods for each course are determined by the course instructor, announced to students at the beginning of the term, and stated in the course syllabus.

Student performance is evaluated using letter grades. In order to pass a course, the student must receive at least a CB grade. To successfully complete the program, students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00.

The principles concerning letter grades and their equivalents are defined by the Graduate Education and Examination Regulations of the Graduate School of Social Sciences at Atılım University.
