Course Objectives The course aims to ensure that students acquire fundamental skills regarding reading methods such as skipping, scanning and focused by using selective attention to get the main idea of a text and to help them improve their academic writing skills.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • To practice essay writing in informative, persuasive and argumentative way.
  • To collect necessary resources for improving writing skills.
  • To practice and improve reading and writing skills as well as knowledge of grammar and vocabulary.
Course Content Various reading and writing exercises in accordance with different writing techniques such as description and explanation.
