Course Objectives The purpose of this course is to provide the opportunity to the students to apply the theoretical knowledge learned at school to practice and gain experience in business life and learn about the functioning of institutions.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • acquired the skills to assess practical implications of theoretical knowledge acquired throughout their training at the university,
  • gained field specific terminological knowledge along with their traineeship experience in different fields,
  • acquired knowledge and experience about translation business and translation market,
  • defined inter-departmental relations in the company/institution of traineeship and shared their experiences,
  • developed the skills to prepare and present the information they have obtained during their traineeship in a formal report.
Course Content Minimum 20 working days of traineeship; traineeship file; translator's responsibilities and rights.
